We work closely with the University of Leeds' Lifelong Learning Centre to help raise awareness of higher education opportunities to under-represented groups in Leeds. Our relationship with the university allows us to ensure that information and advice on higher education courses is being given to adult learners throughout Leeds, often people who may not consider higher education or the University of Leeds as a place to study.

The Lifelong Learning Centre attends quarterly forums to offer information and advice to groups on higher education courses and career pathways.

Our Family Learning team also work closely with the Lifelong Learning team and offer an open day to learners accessing our family learning provision each summer. The open day involves learners attending the Lifelong Learning Centre, hearing first hand experiences of learners studying at the university and real-life learning workshops.
